Which Deus Ex? The original one, or Invisible War? Because Invisible War is not nearly as good as the original Deus Ex.

Also, are you sure your computer can run Crysis 2? It is a very new game, and the CryEngine is very powerful/graphically demanding=you'll need a powerful PC with a good graphics card to run it.

Now, down to answering your question. Crysis 2 is a First Person Shooter (FPS). Deus Ex is an action/adventure game combining aspects of FPS's and Role Playing Games (RPG. The RPG part is customization. You can modify your weapons, and even your own body through nanotech augmentations. It also has a pretty nice NPC interaction, almost like Mass Effect. (Oh, and if you like Deus Ex, you should check out the Mass Effect series and maybe also Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic). One of the best parts about Deus Ex was that you could tackle situations is many ways. You could use stealth, run in guns blazing, talk your way out, or use computer hacking. It's all about choice really. This also means there is lots of replay value. Another detail is that Deus Ex: Human Revolution is coming out later this year. So if you like this you get to play the sequel (which is looking to be very good).

But if you like traditional FPS like Call of Duty or Halo more, you might want to get Crysis 2. The main reason some people (including me) got Crysis 2 was for the amazing visuals/graphics and for the multiplayer.
